Natalie (Chia-Yu) Yu

I am a Teaching Associate in the School of East Asian Studies for the 2024-2025 academic year through the Taiwan Huayu Best Programme, in partnership with Tunghai University, Taiwan. I have taught Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan, Canada, Norway, the Netherlands, and the UK in diverse educational settings.

My academic interests focus on developing intercultural competence in foreign language teaching and learning, and promoting meaningful language and cultural exchange.
